TONE technology optimizes the Disc's performance

From the very beginning, Clash has harbored a strong desire to make big things and revolutionize the industry. Product development commenced in 2021, with the aim of offering the best possible plastic for disc golf.

In 2023, our passion for innovation shifted towards refining the methods of disc manufacturing. Numerous approaches were explored. There have been successes and some failures. Through these experiences, we gained valuable insights and achieved remarkable success. Now, at the beginning of 2024, we have something truly remarkable to take pride in.

TONE Technology represents an entirely new approach to crafting disc golf discs using two distinct plastics. In TONE discs, these plastics are vertically separated.

Thanks to our new technology, we can employ a stiffer plastic for the lower part, enhancing the TONE disc's torque resistance and emphasizing its spin. The disc also maintains its properties for a more extended period. By utilizing a different plastic for the upper part, we achieve an optimized grip and improved control over the disc's shape and dome during the manufacturing process. All of these enhancements optimizes the disc's performance.

Clash Discs' TONE technology is patented (Patent Pending in Finland). The first mold utilizing TONE technology that we will introduce to the market is the TONE Salt. Clash Discs TONE Salt will be available in March 2024.

Throughout 2024, the TONE product family will expand to include most of Clash's familiar molds. This technology has the potential to revolutionize not only the entire Clash product family but also the entire disc golf industry.
